About Kate

Kate Craig-Wood is a UK-based IT entrepreneur and Managing Director of Memset Ltd, the UK's first Carbon Neutral hosting company.

One of Kate's core interests is the gender imbalance within the IT industry, and she is a long-time supporter of Computer Clubs for Girls (CC4G) who will be the beneficiary of her Jump Everest expedition.

As a tech entrepreneur Kate with many links within the industry and through her position on the management committee of Intellect's women in IT forum, Kate has seen many of the issues that discourage girls and women from careers in the IT sector, and has done much to highlight those issues.

In October, Kate will be one of a small group of daredevils who will skydive from 29,035ft to land on the side of Mount Everest, on the highest drop zone in the world.
